The “Enchanting Bread Festa” opened on 14 October on the 10th floor of Nagoya Takashimaya in Nagoya and is being held for the third time. There are 38 participating vendors, offering a wide variety of bread, including specialty shops selling salt bread and mentaiko French bread. Of the participating vendors, 10 are making their first appearance, bringing the total number of bread varieties to around 400.
In addition to popular vendors, many are conducting live demonstrations and sales at the venue, with around 20 vendors doing so. The event also includes features that allow visitors to enjoy the bread on-site, such as the return of the eat-in area, which was not available last year.
Participating vendors include Brothers, a gourmet burger specialty shop from Tokyo, which is selling its Crunchy Chili Oil Burger; Hirami Pan from Ishikawa Prefecture, which is conducting live demonstrations and sales of croissants; and yoi-ichi from Hiroshima Prefecture, which is offering bread made with pistachio jam. Sakae Kakiyasu, a long-established confectionery shop in Aichi, is also exhibiting its shrimp gourmet croquette burger.
