Advantest raised its consolidated net income forecast for fiscal 2027 ending March from ¥660.0 billion to ¥741.5 billion, and also revised its net sales and operating profit forecasts upward. The increase is attributed to demand for its core semiconductor testing equipment exceeding expectations as the AI market expands.
Against the backdrop of what is said to be the AI market's first major expansion in 25 years, Advantest revised its consolidated earnings forecast for fiscal 2027 ending March upward. The net income forecast was thereby raised from ¥660.0 billion to ¥741.5 billion.
The net sales forecast was revised upward from ¥1,714.0 billion to ¥1,863.0 billion, and the operating profit forecast from ¥846.0 billion to ¥967.0 billion. This is the second earnings revision for the current fiscal year.
The previously undecided interim dividend was set at ¥49 per share. The revision follows a substantial beat of market expectations.
