アクセル raised its consolidated full-year earnings forecasts to revenue of ¥20.4 billion and operating profit of ¥2.29 billion, and raised its dividend forecast to ¥79. Sales of graphics LSIs for pachinko and pachislot machines are expected to exceed plan, although some products are also subject to higher costs.
アクセル announced that it would raise its consolidated full-year earnings forecasts, with revenue increasing from ¥15.0 billion to ¥20.4 billion and operating profit from ¥1.2 billion to ¥2.29 billion. It also substantially raised its dividend forecast from ¥57 to ¥79.
The main reason for the upward revision was that sales of graphics LSIs for pachinko and pachislot machines are expected to exceed the initial plan.
At the same time, manufacturing costs for some products have risen amid soaring global memory prices, with the expansion of demand for generative AI having an impact. The company is also pursuing appropriate pricing adjustments, which is said to be another contributing factor. Selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to increase due to the capitalisation of development costs for next-generation products and other factors, but are expected to be absorbed by stronger-than-expected earnings.
