サイバーステップホールディングス has entered into a basic agreement with China's 信華信技術股份有限公司 and DIRECT CHINA for a strategic business partnership aimed at the joint development and commercial rollout of AI call center services for the Japanese market. The agreement was dated 17 August 2026, and domestic proof-of-concept testing is scheduled to begin in October.
Under the partnership, サイバーステップ will contribute its experience in call center operations and the AI voice and narration technologies of its consolidated subsidiary NAXA. 信華信 will provide its AI voice chat and AI telemarketing platforms, while DIRECT CHINA will lead the rollout in the Japanese market and provide sales support. By combining their resources, the companies aim to develop services that meet the requirements of the Japanese market.
Going forward, the companies will use the proof-of-concept testing to assess the effectiveness of AI-powered outbound calling, customer-intent assessment and operator collaboration functions, with a view to expanding into a wide range of fields, including sales, local government and financial services. They will also consider creating synergies with customer touchpoints and technology platforms in the digital entertainment business.
