ATLED's cloud-based workflow system “X-point Cloud” substantially reduced the workload involved in Toei Logistics' personnel evaluations and automated expense settlement and journal entries. Operations dependent on paper and Excel were consolidated in the cloud, promoting integration with finance and payroll systems.
On 2 October, ATLED published a case study on Toei Logistics, which introduced its workflow system “X-point Cloud.” In addition to digitising personnel evaluations and expense settlement, the system enabled automated integration with finance and payroll systems. Work previously conducted using paper, Excel and email was consolidated in the cloud, reducing the effort required for evaluations, streamlining application procedures and eliminating manual-entry errors.
Toei Logistics had used “X-point” since 2017, but personnel evaluation forms varied by job type and were dispersed across departments, creating risks that approval emails would be overlooked or sent incorrectly. Executives also had to review paper evaluation sheets for all employees twice a year.
Following implementation, the company retained its existing workflows while migrating to the cloud and improving the efficiency of evaluations, expenses and journal entries. It built automated data transfer using Web API data extraction, user-specific master data and RPA integration, substantially reducing paper-based reviews and achieving zero errors.
The company had 583 employees as of 1 April 2026. The personnel evaluation query function enables immediate extraction by evaluation rank, substantially reducing paper-based evaluation work. Expense applications were also made available to drivers through a proxy application function, promoting the electronic processing and database management of applications and approvals.
