マルマエ raised its medium-term business plan targets, increasing revenue to ¥32 billion and operating profit to ¥8.2 billion. The targets under the plan for the fiscal year ending August 2026 were ¥20 billion and ¥4.1 billion, respectively.
マルマエ is rebounding sharply. The stock has attracted buying following the company’s recently announced upward revision to its medium-term business plan targets.
The new medium-term plan raises its targets for the fiscal year ending August 2028 to revenue of ¥32 billion and operating profit of ¥8.2 billion. The revision is reportedly based on expectations that growth will come earlier than anticipated, amid stronger-than-expected expansion in the semiconductor-related market.
The previous plan targeted revenue of ¥20 billion and operating profit of ¥4.1 billion for the fiscal year ending August 2026. The main factor cited for the revision was an increase in the projected contribution from the precision components and functional materials businesses.
