GMO Commerce announced an upward revision to its forecast for ordinary profit for the current fiscal year and said it would increase the dividend by ¥1.56 per share. The company has disclosed revised forecasts based on the impact of making the company a consolidated subsidiary.
On 24 September, GMO Commerce announced that it had raised its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending December 2026 by 12.1%, from the previous forecast of ¥650 million to ¥730 million. Accordingly, it revised its year-end dividend from ¥50.56 to ¥52.12 per share, an increase of ¥1.56.
The revision is based on the assumption that shares will be transferred and the company will become a subsidiary. GMO Commerce said the figures may be revised again depending on future earnings trends and changes in the scope of consolidation. The announcement indicates that revenue and each profit item are expected to increase as results are incorporated from the fourth quarter.
The company’s dividend policy remains unchanged, including its policy of maintaining its consolidated payout ratio and dividend-on-equity (DOE) levels. The increase in the year-end dividend was announced within that framework.
