Royal Holdings announced that it would open its third sushi restaurant in California, United States. The restaurant will be operated through a local company invested in by 銚子丸 and Sojitz.
Royal Holdings has disclosed plans to open a new restaurant in California as part of the expansion of its sushi-focused business in the United States. Operations will be conducted through a local company established and jointly funded by 銚子丸 and Sojitz as a three-company partnership.
The new restaurant, named SUSHIBLISSBA, will have 118 seats. In addition to counter seating, it will offer terrace and table seating, as well as four course menus, including a tasting of 3 types of wagyu, and a boat-shaped sashimi platter as part of a broader Japanese cuisine offering.
The U.S. expansion is part of the initiatives undertaken since the local company was established in 2024. From 2025, the company is also reportedly planning to operate 2 restaurants where customers can casually enjoy sushi prepared by sushi chefs.
A key point is that the local company jointly funded by Royal Holdings, 銚子丸 and Sojitz will be responsible for operations, indicating an intention to strengthen the sushi business in the local market.
