The PortTech brand has unveiled the IW6001A waterproof light, which can be used underwater, with sales scheduled to begin on the official e-commerce site in August 2026. Its features include IPX7 waterproofing, which withstands immersion at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes, and a floating design that allows it to remain on the water’s surface.
It has an easy-to-grip, gun-type handle and a 2-way design that also allows it to be used as a freestanding light when the movable handle on the grip is extended. It is suitable for outdoor work in rainy conditions, outdoor activities, and use during disasters.
The light can be switched between a 320-lumen High mode, a 150-lumen Low mode, and a flashing mode. Continuous use is expected to last approximately 5.5 hours in High mode and approximately 12 hours in Low mode. It operates on 3 AA batteries, sold separately.
