Nikon's subsidiary announced the launch of the full-frame mirrorless camera "Z5IIC." It features Scene Mode and dedicated buttons designed to make intuitive operation possible even for first-time users.
Nikon announced the Nikon mirrorless camera "Z5IIC" and stated that it will be launched on 23 October 2026. The product is called the "Z5IIC," has an open price, and reservations in Japan will open at 10:00 on 2 October.
The camera offers performance equivalent to the "Z5II" while simplifying operation for beginners. Scene Mode, introduced for the first time on the shooting-mode dial, automatically optimises 15 types of scenes, and a dedicated button can be used to call up Imaging Recipes. It also uses AI technology to recognise subjects and scenes and automatically adjust exposure and autofocus.
The design minimises protrusions and is intended for everyday use. Features include a 3.2-inch vari-angle monitor and magnesium-alloy components for enhanced durability. Available in black and silver, the camera is designed for improved portability suited to everyday snapshot photography.
For video, it supports recording at up to 4K 60p and Full HD 120p, as well as 4x and 5x slow motion, a UVC/UAC-compatible webcam function and N-Log recording, expanding the range of video applications.
