IBJ,Inc. announced that it will hold “IBJ Summit 2026” at THEATER MILANO-Za on Thursday, 19 November 2026. Approximately 900 matchmakers from across Japan are expected to attend, making it a gathering of matchmakers held for the first time in 3 years.
The programme will centre on a matchmaker talk battle, covering traditional practices such as men paying for tea and making introductory telephone calls, and discussing how de facto marriage should be viewed as an end goal. It will also include a keynote speech, an entertainment stage and academy awards, among a range of other programmes.
As SPECIAL CONTENTS, TOKYO MX Podcast will hold a live recording featuring MC Suzuki Osamu (鈴木おさむ) and guest Haruna Ai (はるな愛).
IBJ,Inc. positions the event as a forum for considering the future of matchmaking support, drawing on its network of marriage agencies.
