デジタルガレージ will launch its Musubell Smart Identity Verification service for real estate transactions for approximately 100,000 members of real estate transaction associations nationwide. The service will be available from 20 November 2026, with Zentakuren among its partner organisations.
デジタルガレージ announced that it will partner with organisations affiliated with the National Federation of Real Estate Transaction Associations (Zentakuren), which represents approximately 80% of real estate businesses nationwide, to launch Musubell Smart Identity Verification for approximately 100,000 members of real estate transaction associations in all 47 prefectures from 20 November 2026.
The service completes identity verification, anti-social forces screening and suspicious transaction management online. Members of the real estate transaction associations will be able to apply through the Hat Support member site. Ahead of the enforcement of the revised enforcement regulations under the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, non-face-to-face verification is expected to be consolidated around methods based on IC-chip information from public individual authentication and other sources.
In preparation for the enforcement of the revised law in April 2027, a major turning point for the real estate industry, デジタルガレージ, one of Japan's largest digital payment companies, and Zentakuren, one of the country's largest organisations, aim to promote the digitisation of identity verification in real estate transactions nationwide.
