Digital Garage announced that it will launch a new service, “Musubell Smart Identity Verification,” enabling approximately 100,000 real estate businesses nationwide to complete identity verification and antisocial forces screening online. In partnership with the National Federation of Real Estate Transaction Associations, the service will be rolled out from 20 November 2026.
Digital Garage announced that, in partnership with the National Federation of Real Estate Transaction Associations (Zentakuren), it will launch “Musubell Smart Identity Verification,” an identity verification service for real estate transactions, for approximately 100,000 members of real estate transaction business associations across all 47 prefectures from 20 November 2026.
The service complies with the amended Enforcement Regulations of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and enables identity verification, antisocial forces screening and suspicious transaction management to be completed online. It is designed to meet the new standards for both in-person and remote operations.
Members of real estate transaction business associations can apply through the “Hato Support” member portal. Payments will use DG Financial Technology’s payment service and can be completed by credit card. The service is being introduced against the backdrop of the amended Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, which is scheduled to take effect in April 2027, with the use of IC chip data for remote identity verification expected to expand.
Musubell Smart Identity Verification will be offered as part of Digital Garage’s Musubell series. Built on D-Confia, an identity verification platform, it will support record retention and management of screening results. Going forward, Digital Garage aims to strengthen collaboration with industry associations and promote the digitalisation and improved security of real estate transactions.
