ジーエルテクノホールディングス revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year upward to ¥8.15 billion, presenting a new record-profit forecast above the previous forecast. It updated the overall outlook while maintaining its previous interim ordinary profit forecast.
ジーエルテクノホールディングス announced an earnings forecast revision in the afternoon of 2 November, raising consolidated ordinary profit for the current fiscal year, ending March 2027, from the previous forecast of ¥7.8 billion to ¥8.15 billion, a 4.5% upward revision. The projected profit growth rate expanded to 5.6%, adding further to the previous record-profit forecast.
The interim ordinary profit forecast for April–September was maintained at the previous forecast of ¥3.27 billion. Although sales and lower-level indicators were revised, the interim outlook remained unchanged.
The main factors behind the revision included favorable order conditions, particularly in the semiconductor business, and a high level of order backlog. Results are expected to exceed the plan. Although operating profit will be affected by higher depreciation expenses associated with new investments, increased sales of consumables for the analytical instruments business in the environmental field are expected to provide support, putting full-year results above the plan.
The company also indicated that its shareholder return policy sets the payout ratio at approximately 30%. The year-end dividend forecast is currently under consideration.
