Morning session comments covered earnings and developments at ロゴスホールディングス and Money Forward, as well as 大末建設, TWOSTONE, リップス and MSコンサルティング. The companies announced moves including revisions to their earnings outlooks during the fiscal year, purchases and share buybacks.
ロゴスホールディングス announced that its consolidated operating loss for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2027 was ¥1.02 billion. The company said it took time for the effects of new store openings to materialize, while front-loaded spending on additional personnel and advertising also weighed on results.
Money Forward reported a consolidated operating profit of ¥1.69 billion for the nine months ended November 2026, compared with an operating loss in the same period a year earlier. Revenue was ¥46.91 billion, up 32.9% year on year. Third-quarter standalone revenue rose 52% year on year, and the full-year profit forecast was left unchanged.
大末建設 raised its consolidated operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 from the previous ¥5.75 billion to ¥7.05 billion. The revision reflected improved construction progress and profitability in the first half, as well as the company's response to design changes and higher material prices. It also raised its interim and year-end dividend forecasts, revising the full-year dividend forecast from ¥186 to ¥234.
TWOSTONE raised its consolidated operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2027 to ¥1.53 billion, up 89.0% year on year, and increased its full-year dividend forecast by ¥1 to ¥1. The company aims to strengthen its engineer platform services, promote the use of AI and expand its consulting and advisory businesses. In the previous fiscal year, ended August 2026, operating profit was ¥810 million, down year on year.
リップス indicated that it expects to raise its operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2027 to ¥680 million, up 1.0% year on year. At the same time, aggressive advertising spending, higher transportation costs and investment in personnel are pushing up selling, general and administrative expenses, potentially limiting growth in its profit outlook. The share price is reacting negatively to this outlook.
MSコンサルティング reported a strong first-half performance for the fiscal year ending February 2027, with consolidated operating profit of ¥150 million, 2.2 times the year-earlier level. The use of CX Grid and AI-driven productivity improvements contributed to results. However, the company needs to assess progress in building up projects and improving profitability in the second half, so it left its full-year forecast unchanged. It set a share buyback limit of 700,000 shares and ¥350 million.
