Yamanashi Chuo Bank has consolidated consideration of AI utilization and digital transformation in the newly established AIDX CoE (Center of Excellence). The aim is to centralize consideration of AI and DX, which had previously been dispersed among departments, and optimize the organization as a whole.
AIDX CoE has a total of 7 members, comprising 3 from the DX and Work Reform Promotion Office and 4 members serving concurrently from the Systems Management Department, Sales Management Department and Loan Examination Department. The first meeting was held in October, with executives participating remotely also taking part.
By promoting the bank’s overall strategy and initiatives in a unified manner, the bank aims to guide the advancement of AI and data utilization toward optimization of the organization as a whole rather than optimization of individual areas.
