BRANGISTA announced after the market close on 19 October that it had downwardly revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥1.42 billion to ¥1.36 billion. The growth rate over the previous fiscal year is now expected to narrow from 26.8% to 21.4%. Meanwhile, the full-year consolidated net income forecast was raised from the previous ¥2.0 billion to ¥2.55 billion, which is expected to maintain and exceed the forecast for a record high.
The company also revised its second-half forecasts. Second-half ordinary profit was reduced from the previous forecast of ¥910 million to ¥850 million, while the growth rate is calculated to narrow from 52.5% to 42.5%. The company also explained that changes in net sales and the demand environment would affect the overall full-year plan for the current fiscal year.
The announcement cited factors affecting the composition of current-period earnings, including the recognition of a special gain from the sale of investment securities. The company said it plans to announce its financial results on 16 November and will provide details of the announcement date and any new outlook at that time.
