Topvalu's microfleece full-zip jackets and cardigans will be available in limited quantities from 1 October at approximately 600 Aeon-affiliated stores nationwide and through Aeon Style Online. Priced at ¥1,100 including tax, the range includes adult and children's sizes.
As new microfleece items for the whole family, the range consists of 2 styles: full-zip jackets and cardigans. Women's and men's sizes are M, L and XL, with 6 colors each for women's and men's items. Kids' items are available in 4 sizes and 8 colors.
The fabric uses soft microfleece made from fine yarn and has been treated to add volume. Analysis incorporating digital fitting models was used, with attention also paid to ease of arm movement and the smoothness of the pocket lining.
The jacket has a silhouette that makes layering easy, and the zipper pull is designed for easy opening and closing. Kids' items are divided into girls' and boys' styles, with a total of 4 sizes and 8 colors.
The products will be launched on a rolling basis from 1 October. They will be available in areas west of Kanto on the same day, in Hokkaido and Tohoku from 3 October, and in Okinawa from 20 November. Product availability may vary by store.
It is explained that manufacturing costs were reduced, and prices kept low, by using factories' slack periods for batch production.
