At its earnings briefing for the interim period of the fiscal year ending February 2027, TKP stated that it intends to pay its first-ever year-end dividend of ¥30 per share since its founding. While aiming to continue returning profits to shareholders by setting its future payout ratio at approximately 30%, the company indicated a policy of temporarily suspending share buybacks in order to balance growth and shareholder returns.
Interim results were all record highs: revenue of ¥69.4 billion, up 39.1% year on year, EBITDA of ¥7.6 billion, operating profit of ¥4.6 billion, ordinary profit of ¥4.3 billion and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥2.4 billion. By segment, Spatial Regeneration and Distribution generated ¥29.5 billion, On the Page ¥23.7 billion and Lilikara ¥16.3 billion, with each exceeding the previous year's results. Demand expanded particularly strongly in Spatial Regeneration and Distribution. On the Page recorded higher profit due to contributions from the former Escrit and expansion of its architectural and real estate business, while Lilikara secured higher revenue despite the impact of rising costs and other factors.
New openings totalled 26 facilities and approximately 15,000 tsubo, with a net increase of approximately 13,900 tsubo. Vacancy rates continued to decline, particularly around Tokyo and Shinagawa stations, and the company indicated a policy of pursuing excess profit while limiting risk as it shifts its opening strategy. It also explained that it is moving to make Ajikobo Suisen a wholly owned subsidiary in order to bring its catering business in-house and scale it up.
The full-year forecast remains unchanged, at revenue of ¥146.0 billion, operating profit of ¥11.0 billion, ordinary profit of ¥9.7 billion and net profit of ¥4.0 billion. Regarding the fact that interim progress remains at approximately 50%, the company explained that it is proceeding with confidence while assessing demand trends from autumn onward.
New hotel openings, including an APA Hotel in front of Yamagata Station, are also under way. The company expressed its focus on organic growth and the creation of multiple earnings pillars as part of its future growth strategy.
