The purpose of the capital and business alliance is to advance the joint development of large-scale games on Roblox and expand Japan-originated IP into global markets. The two companies also envision developing a diversified range of businesses centered on games.
The alliance partners are CafeGroup株式会社 and 株式会社ゲームガム. CafeGroup株式会社 engages in CG production, IP development and systems development, integrating creative and technology capabilities, including game development. 株式会社ゲームガム plans, promotes, develops content for and operates games centered on Japan-originated brands and IP using Roblox.
The alliance is scheduled to take effect in August 2026. Through the development of large-scale games on Roblox, the collaboration aims to promote the global expansion of Japan-originated IP.
