Komeri began selling the Car-Wash Apron on 18 September as a new product under its original automotive supplies brand CRUZARD. It is priced at ¥1,980 including tax and is available at some Komeri Power and Komeri Hardware & Green stores and through Komeri.com.
コメリ has launched an apron under its CRUZARD brand to protect clothing from getting wet or scratched while washing a car. It is available at Komeri Power and Komeri Hard & Green stores, excluding some locations, as well as online through Komeri.com, at ¥1,980 including tax.
The apron’s outer surface uses soft-feel microfiber with fine fibers. It is less likely to scratch the vehicle when it comes into contact with the body and also acts as a barrier that covers hard fittings such as buttons and buckles. The reverse side is made of waterproof fabric to protect against splashes and detergent spray, reducing wetness and chill during work.
Two large pockets are provided on the left and right sides of the front for storing car-washing tools. There is also a smartphone pocket on the upper back, designed for use while listening to music during the work.
