SoftBank launched a partner alliance in September to expand adoption of AGENTIC STAR, an AI platform for businesses. Formally announced on 6 October, the alliance will establish an integrated support structure through 4 collaboration partners.
SoftBank announced that it launched the AGENTIC STAR Integration Partner Alliance in September 2026 to expand adoption of AGENTIC STAR, a platform that promotes the use of AI by businesses. The alliance will establish a structure providing consistent support from development through operations.
SoftBank selected ACSHU, Seraku, FPT Software Japan and Headwaters as its 4 collaboration partners. Through these partners, businesses will be able to receive comprehensive support and consultation covering AI agent requirements definition, development and implementation, deployment, operations and maintenance.
AGENTIC STAR enables the centralized management and control of multiple AI agents, as well as the flexible combination of multiple LLMs according to their intended use. SoftBank plans to support improvements in development quality by providing SDKs and APIs, onboarding training and other services.
The partners will also jointly promote go-to-market activities and strengthen marketing initiatives, including communicating deployment case studies. The platform also supports automated deployment through Microsoft Marketplace and AWS Marketplace.
At the same time, some have pointed out that wider adoption of environments in which multiple AI agents and LLMs are operated could increase the difficulty of corporate governance and security management. Establishing operational policies and making appropriate use of security features will therefore be essential.
