ヘッドウォータース and SoftBank have signed a basic agreement as partners for AGENTIC STAR. The companies will jointly pursue expanding business opportunities in the enterprise AI agent market.
ヘッドウォータース has joined the partner program for AGENTIC STAR, SoftBank’s AI platform for businesses, and signed a basic agreement. The two companies will jointly promote the adoption and commercial development of AI agents in the enterprise market.
As a market backdrop, practical, full-scale adoption of AI agents is expected to begin in fiscal 2026, with investment projected to advance mainly in the manufacturing and financial sectors. Although Japanese companies show strong intentions to increase AI investment, achieving results across the organization remains a challenge. The partnership is said to reflect the alignment of both companies’ needs to secure a partner with advanced implementation capabilities and to leverage a large-scale platform.
The partnership’s three main areas of collaboration are, first, for ヘッドウォータース to lead the development and delivery of AI agents for end-user companies; second, for SoftBank to provide development environments such as SDKs and APIs and support engineer training; and third, to jointly develop go-to-market activities and marketing.
In terms of asset development and future prospects, ヘッドウォータース plans to combine its AI engineering OS, SAIDDar, with SDI, a data and knowledge conversion solution, to utilize its proprietary assets and explore market expansion in the physical AI field. The companies aim to create new market opportunities by combining SoftBank’s infrastructure with multimodal AI technologies.
