The products include 113 seasonings, including mayonnaise and dressings, and 30 prepared foods, such as pasta sauces. The price increases reflect higher raw material, packaging material and energy costs.
As a representative item, the suggested retail price of 450g Kewpie Mayonnaise will rise from ¥517 to ¥565 before tax. The price increases will range from approximately 3% to 25%.
Prices of a total of 601 foodservice products will also rise from shipments on 1 November, with increases ranging from approximately 2% to 38%. The products include seasonings, prepared foods, salads and processed egg products.
