dip Corporation and SHIMIZU CORPORATION jointly held an experiential career education program combining construction and dance for 87 sixth-graders at Kamakura Municipal Onari Elementary School. The program consists of Part 1, which covers work at construction sites, and Part 2, which combines dance by dip BATTLES with construction-related movements.
The program was held at Kamakura Municipal Onari Elementary School on 11 September 2026, from 13:30 to 15:20. It was intended for 87 sixth-graders and was organized by SHIMIZU CORPORATION, with dip Corporation as co-organizer.
In Part 1, SHIMIZU CORPORATION employees introduced buildings in Kamakura that the company had been involved with, while specialists in 6 occupations, including civil engineering and construction supervision, explained their work and answered questions to deepen the students' understanding of jobs at construction sites.
In Part 2, following a performance by dip BATTLES dancers, a workshop combined an original "construction dance" incorporating movements used at construction sites with the children's original group gymnastics routine.
The program was conducted to help the children develop a physical understanding of the work involved in construction and to foster a shared sense of teamwork and accomplishment through the experience.
