The hacker group “Storm-0940,” which is said to have ties to the Chinese government, reportedly used AI to attempt to gain access to ConnectWise and targeted several hundred organizations worldwide.
Microsoft disclosed information indicating that an attempt had been made to gain access to ConnectWise using an AI-enabled intrusion technique.
The activity was attributed to the hacker group Storm-0940, which is said to have ties to the Chinese government, and organizations that may be affected are said to be spread worldwide.
