ソーシャルワイヤー cut its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥280 million from the previous forecast of ¥400 million, and now expects to fall below its initial plan.
ソーシャルワイヤー announced an earnings forecast revision after the market close on 30 October, cutting its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥280 million from the previous forecast of ¥400 million. Revenue for the new fiscal year is projected at ¥4,350 million, operating profit at ¥326 million, net profit at ¥254 million and annual dividends per share at ¥0.
The main reasons for the revision were repeated budget reductions and lost orders involving some large projects in the core business, which caused revenue to fall below the initial plan. One-off costs, including intermediation fees and business restructuring expenses, also had an impact. The effects of external factors and internal restructuring combined to produce an outlook below the previous plan.
Regarding the contribution from the second half, the company said revenue is expected to remain at the level of the initial plan, supported by the advertising operations support business of セリョ, which became a consolidated subsidiary in June 2026. At the same time, gross profit margin is expected to fall below the initial assumption.
