Charm Care Corporation announced at 10:00 on the 31st that it had entered into a capital and business alliance agreement with Donut Robotics, which develops physical AI and humanoid robots. The aim is to promote the implementation of robot technology in care settings.
As part of the alliance, Charm Care Corporation will subscribe to ¥300 million worth of ordinary shares issued by Donut Robotics. The companies will combine their expertise in operating care facilities and experience in care settings with AI and robotics technology to promote the introduction of physical AI, including the humanoid robot "cinnamon 1 (Cinnamon One)," in care settings.
Through repeated demonstrations and joint development, the companies aim to build next-generation care models in which robots and people work together.
