Oji Group will invest a total of $110 million to build an aseptic carton packaging plant at Long Thanh Hi-Tech Park in Dong Nai Province. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028. The site will cover approximately 57,000 square metres and have an annual production capacity of up to 8 billion cans.
Vietnam’s processing and manufacturing sector is driving foreign direct investment, while Oji Group proceeds with construction of an aseptic carton packaging plant for liquid products. Total investment will amount to $110 million. The plant will be located at Long Thanh Hi-Tech Park in Dong Nai Province, with operations scheduled to begin in 2028.
The plant will occupy approximately 57,000 square metres and focus on the production of aseptic paper carton packaging. More than 200 jobs are expected to be created in the initial phase, with the aim of strengthening production capacity for Vietnam’s food and beverage market as well as regional markets.
Oji Group is developing the project jointly with IPI, an Italian company. Drawing on its long-standing experience in aseptic paper packaging, the group aims to provide packaging materials and filling technology compatible with existing roll-filling machines.
Production at the plant is expected to respond directly to demand from Vietnam’s food and beverage industry while supporting supply networks in Southeast Asia.
