Oji Group is building an aseptic paper carton plant at Long Thanh Hi-Tech Park in Dong Nai Province, with total investment of US$110 million. Operations are targeted to begin in 2028, with annual production capacity of up to 8 billion cartons and a site area of approximately 57,000 square metres.
On 10 October, 王子印グループ held a groundbreaking ceremony for an aseptic paper carton packaging plant at Long Thanh Hi-Tech Park in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam, with total investment of US$110 million.
The plant will produce aseptic paper carton packaging for the beverage and liquid food industries, meeting demand in the domestic market while supporting the supply network for Southeast Asia and international markets. The site covers approximately 57,000 square metres, with annual production capacity of up to 8 billion cartons. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028.
The plant will be built within Long Thanh Hi-Tech Park as part of the expansion of the 王子リキッドパック brand's business. The local industrial park management committee commended the project for its contribution to increasing domestic production capacity, developing regional industries and strengthening Vietnam's supply chain.
The CEO of 王子リキッドパック said that Vietnam would be positioned as a strategic production base, with the aim of improving customer service through local production. The plant is also expected to contribute to the supply of aseptic packaging materials and the development of packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy.
