西部ガスホールディングス has been selected as a finalist in the Organizational Category of the Japan AI Awards 2026. Its initiative to enhance face-to-face sales capabilities and customer data through AI will be evaluated.
Of the 126 applications received from across Japan, 16 entries in total were selected as finalists across the Organizational and Individual Categories. 西部ガスホールディングス was selected as a finalist in the Organizational Category.
The company is working to enhance its sales activities through the use of AI by combining its face-to-face sales capabilities with customer data. It is currently conducting field trials of a sales model in which people and AI work together.
The finalists will take part in the final judging at AI & Security Summit 2026, to be held at a venue in Gotanda, Tokyo, on 12 November 2026. They will be evaluated through presentation judging and questions and answers based on their vision, ambition, execution and results, originality, and shared value.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on the same day after the final judging, and the company's initiative is expected to be evaluated.
