Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced the agreed business commencement date and executive structure for FUSO BUS, a new bus-only manufacturer to be jointly established by the two companies. Operations are scheduled to begin on 2 November 2026, and specific policies for establishing the company’s future structure were presented.

(Foxconn) announced the agreed business commencement date and executive structure for “FUSO BUS,” a new bus-only manufacturer they plan to establish jointly. FUSO BUS aims to accelerate the advancement of public transportation and the decarbonisation of mobility.
This is based on the “Final Agreement on the Establishment of a New Bus Manufacturer in Japan” announced by the two companies on 22 January 2026. The agreement sets out the specifics of the company’s business structure and indicates the direction of its future business development.
Operations are scheduled to begin on 2 November 2026, with FUSO BUS to operate as a bus-focused operating company. The establishment of the new company is expected to further accelerate efforts to advance public transportation and decarbonise mobility.
