HODEN SEIMITSU KOGYO revised upward its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027, raising its full-year profit outlook and dividend. Following its recent rapid rebound, OKAMOTO GLASS has seen signs of overheating ease, and the February high is now viewed as within reach.
HODEN SEIMITSU KOGYO revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027, raising its operating profit forecast from ¥1,436 million to ¥1,832 million. The full-year forecast was reviewed based on second-quarter results and variances, as well as market conditions from the third quarter onward. Accordingly, the forecast for the year-end dividend per share was raised from the previous forecast of ¥20 to ¥25.
Following its recent strong rebound, OKAMOTO GLASS was reportedly bid up to around ¥1,026 on the 2nd. Since then, its price movement has begun to settle, and the retreat on the Bollinger Bands from above +3σ to +1σ has led to views that the sense of overheating has subsided.
Market participants are again anticipating moves aimed at capturing a rebound, with some viewing the February high of ¥1,638 as potentially within reach.
