KDDI signed a basic agreement with LG CNS, an LG Group company in South Korea, and outlined plans to expand services including AI agents and robot management, primarily across the Asia-Pacific region.
KDDI announced that it signed a basic agreement with LG CNS, an LG Group company, on the 14th. It plans to provide AI and robotics-related services to Japanese and South Korean companies across the Asia-Pacific region.
The two companies aim to provide AI agent services that can make decisions and perform tasks autonomously by combining KDDI's expertise in operating AI systems with LG CNS's AI-related business.
They also plan to provide robot management services for the manufacturing and logistics industries and work to improve public services by using their robotics and telecommunications technologies.
In the future, the companies intend to invite other telecommunications operators and companies in the Asia-Pacific region to participate and strengthen their collaborative framework.
