NAKABAYASHI announced that it will begin rolling out an A4 clear folder with a tactile open-edge structure from late October 2026. The universal-design product is intended to be easy to use for people with limited dexterity or visual impairments.
NAKABAYASHI announced the Easy-Flip Clear Folder/A4, which retains the familiar clear-folder shape while using an open-edge structure that allows users to open it by placing a finger anywhere along the edge. The product will begin rolling out from late October 2026.
The structure eliminates the need to search for a place to put a finger, while making the opening point identifiable by touch, so the design is easier to use for people with limited dexterity or visual impairments.
The folder also has rounded corners, reducing snagging when it is taken in and out of a bag and preventing pain if it contacts the hand.
The lineup ranges from packs of 5 to 100. Prices including tax are ¥330 for 5, ¥550 for 10, ¥2,200 for 50 and ¥3,850 for 100.
