TOSHIBA TEC CORPORATION has renewed its electronic receipt service, the “Smart Receipt®” app, adding functions to improve convenience before and after shopping. The new functions are ingredient management and recipe search, and a campaign commemorating the renewal will also be held.
TOSHIBA TEC CORPORATION renewed its electronic receipt service, the “Smart Receipt®” app, on 13 October 2026. In addition to managing purchase histories through conventional electronic receipts, the app now includes an “ingredient management function” for managing purchased ingredients and a “recipe function” for searching for recipes based on those ingredients, helping users check what they have before shopping and plan meals using ingredients on hand.
Smart Receipt now has more than 3.2 million members, while the number of participating stores nationwide has reached approximately 19,000. The renewal is intended to improve the app’s convenience, increase opportunities to use it before and after shopping, and expand opportunities for participating stores to engage with consumers.
A campaign commemorating the renewal is scheduled to run from 19 October (Monday) to 30 November (Monday), 2026. Users who use the recipe function or respond to a survey about the new functions will be entered into a lottery, with Smart Receipt points awarded to a total of 1,200 winners. Application details are provided in the app, and the campaign period and content may be changed.
