Wantedly has launched its new app, “Mendy.” The app supports users’ job searches through three main functions: managing recruitment agents’ emails, drafting replies, and assessing scout matches.
Wantedly announced that it will launch the AI job-search agent app “Mendy” on 28 September 2026. The app will be available on iPhone and Android, and will be free to use.
The initial release of Mendy will include 3 functions: centralized management of emails from recruitment agents, drafting email replies, and assessing scout matches. Users will be able to send and receive emails within the app by sharing a dedicated email address.
The email reply drafting function reads the email content and suggests a draft reply, which users can review and edit before sending. Match assessments are based on profile information and displayed with a maximum score of 100%, together with the reasons for the assessment.
Wantedly plans to continue releasing updates and developing a function that learns from users’ behavior and suggests their next actions. The company has also explained the development background, which is aimed at resolving issues associated with using recruitment agents, together with the results of its research.
