カネソウ has revised its ordinary profit forecast for the current interim period downward from the previous forecast of ¥370 million to ¥270 million, changing its outlook to a 20% decline in profit. The announcement included actual results for April–September and the publication date.
カネソウ announced a revision to its results forecast in the afternoon session on 27 October 2026, revising ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending April 2026 (April–September) from the previous forecast of ¥370 million to ¥270 million. Ordinary profit was ¥340 million in the same period of the previous year.
The full-year ordinary profit forecast was left unchanged at ¥1 billion.
As the reason for the revision, the company explained that although public investment remained firm in the construction-related markets served by its major customers, daily sales were sluggish due to delays in construction schedules caused by unfavorable summer weather and shorter working hours.
The specific revised figures for the first half of the current fiscal year are revenue of ¥3,816 million, operating profit of ¥255 million, ordinary profit of ¥272 million, net profit of ¥184 million, revised EPS of ¥32.3, and revised dividend per share of ¥50.
