原信 and ナルス, operated by Axial Retailing, have renewed their standard deli item “Large Meat-Filled Steamed Dumplings” and launched it as “Juicy and Bursting with Flavor: Large Steamed Dumplings.” The new specification pursues the chewiness of coarsely ground meat and a texture filled with rich juices.
The new large steamed dumplings combine different cuts of pork to achieve both meatiness and tenderness. They layer the crunch of bamboo shoots, the sweetness of onion, and the umami of shiitake mushrooms and scallop extract, finished with sesame oil and ginger.
The product is sold at 原信 and ナルス stores for ¥398 before tax for 6 pieces and ¥268 for 4 pieces. The portion sizes are designed to let consumers enjoy the flavor of steamed meat dumplings at an affordable size.
