旭コンクリート工業 raised its first-half ordinary profit forecast by 53.1% to ¥490 million on 7 September. It also raised its full-year ordinary profit forecast to ¥820 million, with the projected profit growth rate increasing from the previous forecast.
旭コンクリート工業 raised its forecast for cumulative second-quarter ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the April–September period announced on 7 September 2026 to ¥490 million from the previous forecast of ¥320 million. Ordinary profit was ¥110 million in the same period a year earlier, and the revised figure represents a 53.1% upward revision, with the profit growth rate expected to expand from 2.7x to 4.1x.
Following the strong first-half performance, the company also raised its full-year ordinary profit forecast to ¥820 million from ¥700 million. Full-year ordinary profit was ¥670 million in the previous fiscal year, and the projected growth rate is expected to expand from 3.6% to 21.3%.
The reasons for the revision include the early recognition in the first quarter of some product sales originally expected in the second half, a higher sales mix of highly profitable products, and the expectation that sales from orders will progress broadly as planned in line with the initial forecast. As a result, operating profit, ordinary profit and net income for the cumulative second-quarter period are expected to exceed the previously announced forecasts.
The published materials also include an outlook for achieving the initial sales forecast and a note concerning future earnings forecasts, stating that sales from orders incorporated into the initial forecast are expected to progress broadly as planned.
