Skymark Airlines ranked No. 1 in the “Customer Satisfaction” category for domestic long-distance transportation in the 2026 JCSI survey. This marked its first top ranking in 2 years and its fifth award overall.
In the 2026 Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index (JCSI) survey, Skymark Airlines ranked No. 1 in the domestic long-distance transportation category for “Customer Satisfaction.” This was the company’s first top ranking in 2 years, following those in fiscal 2020, fiscal 2022, fiscal 2023 and fiscal 2024, and its fifth overall in the category.
The company also ranked No. 1 for “Loyalty,” with its rankings improving year on year across all 6 indicators. The improvement was attributed to substantial gains in 3 indicators: customer expectations, perceived quality and perceived value. These gains are believed to have increased customers’ intention to continue using Skymark Airlines, leading to improved loyalty.
The company said that scores from its post-flight surveys have exceeded those for the same month of the previous year every month for the past 4 years, and that the efforts of all employees to listen to customers’ feedback and improve satisfaction made a significant contribution. On receiving the award, the Representative Director and President said that employees’ efforts and customers’ warm encouragement had led to the result.
