Chugin Financial Group announced that it will launch a BPO business under an outsourcing agreement with Deloitte Tohmatsu smooth to address labour shortages at regional companies and the growing burden of accounting operations. Full-scale rollout is scheduled for April 2027, with the aim of improving the efficiency and standardisation of back-office operations.
The service will use cloud services from freee, combining Deloitte Tohmatsu smooth's expertise in business design and operations with Chugin Financial Group's knowledge of finance and business support. Starting with accounting operations, it will provide support for day-to-day operations and help companies organise their current processes, promoting higher productivity and enabling them to focus on their core operations.
The service is intended for regional companies facing challenges such as reliance on individual employees for accounting operations and the resulting operational burden. Expansion into other areas, including human resources and payroll, is also being considered, with the aim of extending support across the entire back office.
The three partner companies are freee, Deloitte Tohmatsu smooth and Chugin Financial Group. Together, they will establish a service delivery structure combining cloud-based tools with operational design and support.
