Yahagi Construction raised its consolidated operating profit forecast for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥3.40 billion. The forecast was raised because profitability improvements in projects already under construction progressed as expected, and the effects expected in the second half materialized ahead of schedule. The full-year forecast remains unchanged.
Yahagi Construction was reported to have raised its consolidated operating profit forecast for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027 (April–September) from the previous ¥2.30 billion to ¥3.40 billion, in an announcement dated 2 November 2024. The new upside was reflected in the market as the stock turned positive in afternoon trading.
The main reasons for the upward revision were that profitability improvements in projects already under construction progressed as expected, and that the effects of profitability improvements in some projects expected in the second half materialized ahead of schedule. As a result, profit is expected to exceed the previous forecast.
As the latest upside includes improvements brought forward from the second half, the impact on the full-year consolidated earnings forecast is considered limited, and the full-year forecast remains unchanged.
