リップス expects ordinary profit for the current fiscal year to be ¥690 million, an increase of 2.0% from the previous fiscal year. Based on results for the latest four quarters, revenue is expected to remain on an upward trend.
On 15 October, リップス announced its results, reporting non-consolidated ordinary profit of ¥680 million for the fiscal year ending August 2026, down 27.2% from the previous fiscal year, and forecasting ordinary profit of ¥690 million for the fiscal year ending August 2027, up 2.0% from the previous fiscal year. Revenue is therefore expected to increase for the fourth consecutive period.
Ordinary profit for 4Q, the latest three-month period from June to August, was ¥150 million, down 11.2% year on year, while the operating margin on revenue fell sharply to 12.2% from 17.6% in the same period of the previous year.
