Secom has developed a dedicated app with Apple of the United States for employees who experience customer harassment, such as unreasonable demands from customers. Users can start recording audio with a single action and easily report incidents to supervisors.
The overall service is called Safe Assist and has begun being offered to companies. The intended process is for employees to record the situation using the app while at work and report it to a supervisor when necessary.
The service became available this month, and adoption by corporate customers is expected to progress. Secom positions it as a new measure to support workplace incident response through collaboration with Apple.
