Huawei Japan announced its 2026 flagship products all at once. The new lineup includes the FreeBuds Neo and FreeClip 2S wireless earbuds, as well as feature-rich smartwatches.
Huawei held its autumn new-product launch event, strengthening its wireless-earbud and smartwatch categories. The new earbuds are the FreeBuds Neo and FreeClip 2S. The Neo features a lightweight design and advanced noise cancellation, while the Clip 2S is an ear-cuff-style model combining design and functionality.
The FreeBuds Neo weighs approximately 41g including the earbuds and case, with each earbud weighing 4.8g. It features adaptive noise cancellation that processes up to 400,000 pieces of information per second about ambient noise and reduces it by an average of 30dB. The design combines newly developed 11mm Turbo Dynamic Drivers with spatial audio and a gaming mode. Gaming mode and spatial audio can be used simultaneously.
The FreeClip 2S uses softened liquid silicone for improved comfort and comes with an ear-cuff-style jewelry case and a case with 20% greater capacity. An NPU AI processor improves computing performance and enhances bass reproduction and voice processing. MIYAVI also discussed his impressions of the product.
