LTS,Inc. has opened the new Physical AI Co-Creation Lab and begun recruiting partners for the co-creation hub, which connects on-site expertise with robotics technology. The Lab opened on 29 October 2026 and will also conduct testing with actual equipment in operational settings such as airport ground handling.
LTS,Inc. opened the Physical AI Co-Creation Lab on 29 October 2026 and began recruiting partners for co-creation. The Lab will serve as a hub for connecting on-site expertise with robotics technology and accumulating methodologies that support business design and operations.
The purpose of the Co-Creation Lab is to have companies with operational sites, technology partners and research institutions work together to create operations IP through testing with actual equipment, research and development, and human-resource training. Physical AI is expected to augment human capabilities and support the continuity of operations at sites facing severe labor shortages.
Specifically, the initiative will advance the development and testing of actual equipment in challenging operational settings such as airport ground handling, including collaboration with the NEDO Challenge initiative's "Baggage-Loading Robot" project. The Co-Creation Lab will repeatedly develop technologies suited to on-site challenges and test them with actual equipment, with the aim of ensuring stable service delivery at operational sites.
LTS,Inc. will connect companies with operational sites and technology partners, advancing the process as an integrated whole from identifying challenges and redesigning operations through verification, service development and operation, and evaluation and improvement, with the aim of expanding value across industries. Through its partner recruitment, LTS,Inc. will continue efforts to develop the industrial and technological foundations of Physical AI.
