ワッツ raised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026 after the market close the previous day. Net profit is now expected to improve from ¥900 million to ¥1.0 billion, representing an increase of approximately 14.9% from the previous fiscal year.
At the same time, the company raised its year-end dividend forecast from ¥12.50 to ¥15.50, setting the annual dividend forecast at ¥23. Revenue and operating profit forecasts were left unchanged.
Factors cited for the improvement in profit included the reversal of losses recognized in connection with the transfer of consolidated subsidiary Watts Peru S.A.C., lower corporate tax expense, and the release of foreign currency translation adjustments.
