SEIKOH GIKEN CO., LTD. raised its interim and full-year earnings forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2027, and also increased its dividend forecast. The increase in orders for optical connector-related products, driven in particular by expanded AI data center investment, is expected to contribute.
SEIKOH GIKEN CO., LTD. raised its consolidated interim and full-year earnings forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Interim-period net sales were raised to ¥19.600 billion, operating income to ¥5.500 billion, ordinary income to ¥5.550 billion, and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent to ¥4.200 billion. Full-year net sales were raised to ¥41.000 billion, operating income to ¥12.000 billion, ordinary income to ¥12.100 billion, and net income to ¥9.200 billion.
The main reasons for the revisions include a substantial increase in orders for optical connectors resulting from expanded data center investment accompanying the spread of generative AI, higher orders for optical connector polishing machines and measurement equipment, expanded production capacity, increased sales of high-value-added products, and improved equipment utilization.
