The agreement aims to offset, with locally generated credits, greenhouse gas emissions from the production of rice served at Hidakaya restaurants in Tochigi Prefecture.
Specifically, the initiative will offset greenhouse gas emissions generated during rice production with J-Credits from paddy fields in Tochigi Prefecture, promoting decarbonization through the use of regional resources and the local production and consumption of environmental value.
